Hi,

not really, it is really recommended to have a valid OSGi Manifest with
your bundles, in this case the war is just another OSGi Bundle. It works
cause we have some magic around that tries to do something the like, but
still it can't be as good as during built time, and especially it can't
assume some stuff that just isn't obvious.

So make sure you have a valid Manifest with all packages imported that your
application needs and it will work better.

Regards, Achim

Hi,

read the documentation at [1], [2] or take a deeper look at the provided
samples at [3] and [4].
Your deploying a war in a OSGi container, therefore it needs to be a Web
Application Bundle (WAB - aka War + OSGi Manifest)

Hi Achim,

Thanks for your reply. This is the first time i am deploying a war in
servicemix. You told like in manifest file of the project definitions of
import packages has to be done..May i know what will be those packages? can
you share a sample manifest file for a richface application. It will be
helpful.

As Servicemix uses Pax Web, you might be interested in the Pax-Web samples
on how to build a JSF WAR (WAB) [1].
To make it short, make sure you have the right Import-Packages defined in
the Manifest of the WAR otherwise it's hard to discover the needed parts.
