Nightly version - no results?

I have been using Nutch 0.9 without any major problem.
Yesterday I decided to try the last nightly version, Nutch-2007-11-15_08-39-32.
I configured the searcher directory, as I did in Nutch-09

<property>
  <name>searcher.dir</name>
  <value>.</value>
  <description>

However, when I tried a search, I got zero results, even if using the usr/bin
readdb command, I got a few thousands results.

Just to make a further check, I tried a earlier nightly version, Nutch-2007-10-02_04-01-28,
configured the searcher directory, the same as above and got the expected
results.

So, my question:
Is there any problem with this last nightly version, or something has changed?
