jdk versions

hi there,

I tried compiling the code with jdk 1.4, but had trouble with the import
com.sun.org.apache.bcel.internal.classfile.ConstantString in
org.apache.wsrp4j.consumer.configportlet.services.DeployPortletService.

I believe sun strongly recommends staying away from
com.sun.whateverclasses, because they are meant for internal use only.
In addition, it seems to me that the import is not used and should be
removed. If it is to be used, it would probably make more sense to use
org.apache.bcel.internal.classfile.ConstantString.

What is the jvm targeted by wsrp4j? I hope it's 1.4, since most bigger
companies and software vendors still are using this version, and will have
trouble running code targeting 1.5.

Stefan

I don't know how the hell is that import there XD It must have been my
netbeans doing nasty things, because that package isn't used anywhere (I
don't even know what it's for xD).

About the target jdk yes, it's 1.4. I'm working with 5.0 right now, but
the target it's 1.4.

I'll fix the repos tomorrow.

Regards.
Diego.
