[jira] [Resolved] (INFRA-8953) GitHub mirror does not contain tag
for REEF

Daniel Gruno resolved INFRA-8953.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Assignee: Daniel Gruno
The repo only updates on github if you push something to it on git-wip that is not just a new branch. I have manually updated it for you now, but for you to push a change through to github, you will normally need to make an empty/whitespace commit to trigger it.

> The GitHub mirror for REEF (https://github.com/apache/incubator-reef) is not reflecting the tag "release-0.10.0-incubating-rc1" although the ASF git repos show it (https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=incubator-reef.git).
> Is there a way to trigger the mirroring of git tags that I'm not aware of?
> Possibly related: awhile back, I created the branch "branch-0.10.0-incubating" and it did not mirror until I made a commit to it.
