Way to create single DOM(Source) from multiple DOM(Result)s.

I can create a DOMSource from a DOMResult.  We have a situation where we 
  want to perform a transformation on a merged set of DOMResults.  I 
there a way to create a single DOMSource from multiple DOMResults?
