In IntelliJ 12.1 I create a brand new Air application with a sample application.

When I try to launch it I get the following:

[AIR Debug Launcher]: error while loading initial content
Player connected; session starting.
Player session terminated
[AIR Debug Launcher]: Process finished with exit code 1

The same steps work with 4.9.1
