[users@httpd] do anyone successful Apache2 from source in window?

Dear Apache 2 httpd uses on windows:

Does anyone of you ever install from compile source code? if you are, may
I ask you what compiler you use(ofcourse I prefer freeware)? Do you need
to modify source code otherwise you may meet some error at load
module_log_config?

highly appreciate your help and time

Sincere Eric
