Community related menu at main ASF site
Hello All,
Just noticed "Community" menu at https://www.apache.org/foundation/contact.html
seems to be broken (due to latest changes to ComDev site)
Can someone take a look at it, please ? :)

+1, redirects for the comdev site can be added at [1], and should be
for all deleted or moved pages.
This being said, now that we have tags on the comdev site it's
probably safer for external links to point to those when possible,
such as https://community.apache.org/tags/gsoc.html

The point is, there used to be such a page.
If we decide to stop providing that information, I think it is polite
to tell people that the specific page no longer exists.
Also we should not expect other sites to adjust their links if we
change our pages, even if we happen to have access to update the other
site's pages.
We have to assume that some people will use the original URL; we
should not tell them to "go away" with a 404.

Sure. I can see the value of such a redirect. What I don't see is the value
of menu nav link to that content , expressly calling it out, and then
saying "never mind, we don't have that." Seems misleading. But, sure, I
won't get in the way of folks doing that if that's what you thinks
makes sense.

There may be other instances of the same link, and some may be in
sites over which the ASF has no control.
I believe site owners have a duty to maintain URLs where possible.
