text repeated in multiple cells from *.xlsx file (*.xls OK)
Spreadsheet created under macOS Sierra Version 10.12.5 using Excel for MAC
Version 15.32 Product ID 02984-001-000001
Spreadsheet viewed using Windows 10 and OO Calc 4.1.3 (latest version)
This is a rather complex spreadsheet with both hidden and protected cells.
There are a total of 1,053 formulae and only 7 cells with text.
The default *.xlsx file, when loaded into OO Calc, duplicates the text in the
first three text cells. Everything else is fine. If the file is saved in
*.xls format from Excel, there are no issues – all fields are displayed
correctly with OO Calc. I have viewed the problem *.xlsx file with the MS
Excel viewer and it displays correctly. So the file seems sound.
Text is defined in these 7 cells, with OO Calc duplicating the text for the
first 3 cells:
C1: Enter Solution digits below
O1: # of digit choices for each Column
AQ3: Knockout: Any digit (or text) below will knock out the corresponding digit
in Choice
A21: (displays correctly)
A31: (displays correctly)
K32: (displays correctly)
Q32: (displays correctly)
Reviewing the Bugzilla list, Issue 123022 seems similar, but I am not convinced
it identifies the same problem.
Of note, previous versions of this *.xlsx file did not exhibit this problem, so
it may have something to do with the size/complexity of the spreadsheet.
