HDF Umlaut Problems

Hi,

I try to read the text out of Word97 documents with the HDF-Module. I 
checked out the sources from the scratchpad section of the CVS.
Unfortunately umlauts are not coded correctly both in the output of 
org.apache.poi.hdf.extractor.WordDocument's Method writeAllText(Writer 
out) and in the generated FO-File.

If save the  .doc files again in OpenOffice 1.0.1 umlauts are recognized 
correctly.

What could the problem be?
