splitting long lines
Hello,
is it possible to split a long line into several lines (e.g. with a "\" at the
end of line like in make)?
cheers

It is XML and you can put your stuff in whatever way the XML parser
can accept it. Of course you can split a tag into several lines, but
you can't break the value of an attribute (I guess this is what you've
asked for).
So
<a id="something"
attribute="value"
attribute2="value2"
/>
is OK while
<a attribute="value\
split into two lines" />
is valid XML but will have a different result from what you want (the
linebreak and the backslash are going to be part of the attributes
value).
