I want to use RelayCountry
I want to use RelayCountry but I have no idea where to find IP::Country::Fast
Perl module, which it apparently depends on.
Please can someone point me in the right direction. I've tried ixquick.com
but nothing. Tnx.

Yes, but the entire point of the cpan2dist module is to avoid installing
Perl modules via CPAN. I was just pointing out that it would be a bit
ironic for me to have to install this particular module via CPAN.

Hi,
You don't need it, try directly using CPAN:
cpan> install Bundle::CPANPLUS

That looks very useful. Only one problem... I'm missing the CPANPLUS
rpm. :)

if some rpm is missing, then use the url to make native rpm from cpan before install them, remember to setup buildrpm as non root,
and only install as root, i did this on my redhat 8, but redhat went mad :)

CentOS is heavily dependent of RedHat, so it probably uses:
- yum as its command line package manager: run it as root.
"man yum" tells all
- PackageKit as the Gnome (GUI) package manager. Its in the Gnome menu
as System|Administration|Add/Remove software

Thanks Matus for the advice. I wasn't aware of that but am trying to learn
as quickly as I can. Is there a command that I can run to tell me what the
OS/distro package manager is? I'm using CentOS 5 with DirectAdmin as my
hosting manager.
Also thanks to those who helped to get me started with RelayCountry,
especially to Steven W. Orr, who sent me a script that sets up 69 country
rules to get me started.

That is bad answer. The proper answer was the one that advised using your
OS/distribution's packaging system first, and only use CPAN when the first
variant is not possible.
Always use your OS/distributions packages and only install them manually if
the first is not possible.
That will preserve you from having problems with multiple/broken packages
installed and also will assure security upgrades unless you are using
unsupported OS/distro.

Thanks buddy,
Someone replied to directly, this was his response:
just run this command:
# cpan
and when in, do this:
install CPAN
which takes a while for that to 'upgrade' but when it's done, run
reload cpan
(yes, lowercase this time) which will not take as long, but after that
and while still in the cpan 'shell', type this:
install IP::Country::Fast
and to be sure it will work, also type:
install Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::RelayCountry
Then in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf, add this:
add_header all Relay-Country _RELAYCOUNTRY_
and if you want to use Relay-Country rules to add scores, do this:
header RELAYCOUNTRY_CN X-Relay-Countries =~ /CN/
describe RELAYCOUNTRY_CN Relayed through China
score RELAYCOUNTRY_CN 3.0
header RELAYCOUNTRY_RU X-Relay-Countries =~ /RU/
describe RELAYCOUNTRY_RU Relayed through Russian Federation
score RELAYCOUNTRY_RU 3.0
and whatever other countries you wish to add
And I hope that helps.
Karl
I followed his instructions and all seems to have gone according to plan.
Let's see if it makes any difference to ths amount of Spam that gets
through.
Thanks for your help guys.

I would suggest you look through your OS's packing system for
something that looks like it might contain this, e.g. in FreeBSD it's
called p5-IP-Country.
If all else fails then get it from CPAM.
