JPOX with Apache DS

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a solution that will give me ORM like features when
playing with LDAP. I know that JPOX has some basic support for LDAP and
that Apache DS dev team is somehow engaged in the process ([1]?). 

Could you comment on that? 
Is there any place I could try to find some examples/more info?

It might interesting to try. I know very little about JDO and JPOX but
maybe you will find something I could work on.

Nothing concrete has begun yet.  Along side a GSoC student, I may look into
persistence to coordinate these concerns however nothing has started.  If
you're interested you're welcome to work with us to achieve this aim.
