Access Twitter account
Hey guys,
Is anyone here who knows the Twitter access for the edgent account (@ApacheEdgent) or who knows who might know it?
Probably it would be best to share the account login in the private@ list.
Thanks
Julian

Hi Daniel,
thanks for that ... as I have no Idea who's in charge of that account.

Hey Dan,
as everybody likes your suggestion, I think you can go ahead.
Regarding the mail to private@ Christofer or I can give you the token / password then, so just contact us.
Thank you so much!

Hi Julian and Dan,
I think that's a reasonable thing to do ... Initially I did the same for PLC4X but changed that to one of my personal emails as we were continuously getting these stupid notification emails.
But in the end I managed to turn them off completely. I think assigning that to private@edgent.apache.org is probably the best option.
Being a moderator, I could release that email to the list and we could continue from there.
I have heard that some projects use "1password" or similar to share passwords like that ...
However I don't quite know how they do it ... assigning it to private should be enough to be able to recover it if needed.

Hi Dan
Thank you much for your effort.
I like the idea but I'd like to hear the opinion of our mentors on how other projects handle that.

I managed to get the ApacheEdgent account assigned to my work email
address as the original email was for someone who has since left IBM
and thus the email was invalid.
However I'd like to transfer the email to the project, should I assign
it to private@edgent.apache.org ?
That would result in an email from twitter to
private@edgent.apache.org with the confirmation link.
It would need the password that I could also send to the same address.
Then someone on that list could perform the confirmation and change
the password.
Note I did have some issues with the twitter confirmation emails to
get the name changed to my address as they appeared really small and
the confirm link was basically invisible. Hopefully that won't be an
issue.
Let me know if this is how we should proceed.
Dan.
