[Bug 7129] New: Enhancement: rule to only check MX DNS

https://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=7129

            Bug ID: 7129
Summary: Enhancement: rule to only check MX DNS
           Product: Spamassassin
Version: SVN Trunk (Latest Devel Version)
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Rules
          Assignee: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
          Reporter: liquidat@bayz.de

Currently the rule NO_DNS_FOR_FROM checks for the availability of both DNS
records, A and MX.

We recommend to implement a rule checking for the availability of explicit MX
records only.

Sending mails without having an explicit MX record is technically correct (RFC
5321 specifically allows that). But spammers often use domains with such DNS
entries, thus it would help to flag such mails with points.

You may need to consider that this will hit a ton of applications using
hostname in env-sender
wwwrun@serverx.example.com
list would be endless.
