## Question
How can we inject an incident to devlake by using webhook to populate « incidents » table? Because at this time, i see only the possibility to inject an issue but not for an incident.

DevLake doesn't currently support injecting incidents directly via webhook. However, you can inject an issue using the webhook endpoint, and if the issue is marked as an incident (for example, by setting the `type` field to a value recognized as an incident), DevLake will automatically create the corresponding incident records in the incidents table. This is handled internally by the `IsIncident` method and the `saveIncidentRelatedRecordsFromIssue` function in the webhook plugin code. There is no dedicated webhook endpoint for incidents at this time, and this is the intended workaround for now [reference](https://github.com/apache/incubator-devlake/blob/fa80e48aed7b2ca1d979358a3a8075fe4b98c371/backend/plugins/webhook/api/issues.go).
If webhook-based injection doesn't fit your needs, you can also use the Customize Plugin to import incident-related data via CSV [reference](https://github.com/apache/incubator-devlake/issues/8446).
