[jira] [Created] (ACE-399) Properly deal with situation where the SAX parser invokes characters() multiple times for a tag

Marcel Offermans created ACE-399:
------------------------------------

Summary: Properly deal with situation where the SAX parser invokes characters() multiple times for a tag
                 Key: ACE-399
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACE-399
             Project: ACE
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Deployment
    Affects Versions: 1.0.0
            Reporter: Marcel Offermans
            Assignee: Marcel Offermans

In some circumstances, the SAX parser will call characters() multiple times for a tag. Whenever its internal buffer overflows. We do not handle that situation correctly in our DeploymentServlet when we parse the contents of tags. Stackoverflow discusses the situation here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4567636/java-sax-parser-split-calls-to-characters

We need to fix our parser! :)
