Cassandra/cqlsh Error: TSocket read 0 bytes

Has anyone encountered this before?
What did I most likely break or how do I fix it?

I got it.

Had to run:
nodetool cleanup bigmethod

It was not on a production box, just a VM off my laptop for some testing.

An exception occurred on the server, check the logs for the details of 
what happened, and post back here.
