[jira] Created: (XAP-107) Widgets: combBox: comboBox's listBox
height attribute controls comboBox's textField height
Widgets: combBox: comboBox's listBox height attribute controls comboBox's textField height
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: XAP-107
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XAP-107
Project: XAP
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Widgets
Reporter: Matt Carbone
The height attribute of the listBox in a comboBox controls the height of the textField. This is counterintuitive - a height attribute in the comboBox element should control this.
Also, because of this the listBox height is always = n-list Items

Trevor Oldak reopened XAP-107:
------------------------------
This isn't quite fixed.
Further testing shows that the width/height attributes for both are essentially the same. Setting the width/height for either one controls the combobox width and height, when it should only be paying attention to the parent combobox.

Trevor Oldak reopened XAP-107:

Steps to recreate:
1) Open the comboBox component test
2) Set the wdith of testComponent to 200px
3) Set the width of testComponentListBox to 100px
You should see the comboBox become narrow again. Setting the backgroundColor, however, shows that the parent div of the element is still 200px wide.
