thanks for the new patch.
all the components went fine.
I had only issues with the converters/validators.
(I was getting merge conficts).
So, I only committed the patches for the component files, not for the converters/validators.

Yes that is fine. FYI, the changes to the .xml files will still compile and cause no problems, even if they go in before a new plugin release. The current plugins do not handle the example code that is in the .xml files now, so my changes will cause no problems.
