repository.xml extending

Hi !
I need to add some custom XML code into repository.xml. OJB begin to work 
without problems only after patching 
org.apache.ojb.broker.metadata.RepositoryTags.
What is the best way to implement it ?

Could you describe a bit more detailed what custom XML you need to add?
