FOP-future development

Can anybody tell me about the future development of the FOP project?
When will what standard be implemented? Is there a list with
What is and what will be (and when)?

I'm most of all interested in table layout with cell-padding and cell-spacing and
as a special feature turning text 90 degree (counter)clockwise.

Anyone who has answers, send it to me

bye michael gärtner

To paraphrase another Apache software developer "It will be implemented when it is finished".

This is open source development and most people are working on it in their spare time.
They are most keen on implementing the features that *they* use or require and so those
will get finished first. If you wish a particular feature to be given a higher priority
then you should post here explaining why you (and others need it). Be polite.
You are not paying these people for their time (though if you do require commercial support
it can be arranged).

As to versions of specs and which features are implemented then you should have read the FAQ
or visited the FOP website.

cell padding works fine AFAIK so what are you asking.
cell-spacing I am not so sure about.

text rotated by 90 degrees can be done by turning it into an SVG graphic. I use
this for the labels which go on diagram axes.
Is that what you mean? or do you mean something else?
