Expanding the opendapps functionality
Hi all,
I'd like to start expanding the functionality of the OODT opendapps module to allow parsing of additional metadata from multiple sources, i.e. THREDDS catalogs, DAS/DDS data streams, and NcML documents, when available. This is needed by the CMDS (Coastal Marine Discovery Service) project, which is a project undergoing at JPL to create a portal environment to allow indexing of multiple coastal observational datasets, and visualization via GIS (see http://cmds.jpl.nasa.gov/cmds for more information).
If nobody objects, I will start creating proposed patches in the Jira system about expanding the opendapps functionality.
thanks a lot, Luca

Thanks Chris, I created the first Jira ticket, and related patch:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OODT-365
Please let me know if the ticket had to be created differently...
thanks, Luca
