Postgresql problem

hi,

I'm using postgresql 8.0.1  with jetspeed-2 M3 and i'm having a problem:

ERROR: Failed to register portlet application, site
org.springframework.jdbc.BadSqlGrammarException: Bad SQL grammar [] in task 'OJB
 operation'; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: ERROR:  column <<desc
ription>> is bytea but the expresion es  character varying
java.sql.SQLException: ERROR: la columna <<description>> es de tipo bytea pero l
a expresi?n es de tipo character varying


I guess is a obj problem  and datatype mappings ?

my repository_database.xml looks like:

   <jdbc-connection-descriptor
        jcd-alias="jetspeed"
        platform="PostgreSQL,"
        default-connection="true"
        jdbc-level="2.0"
        jndi-datasource-name="java:comp/env/jdbc/jetspeed"
        batch-mode="false"
     >

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
