Wiki editing plug-in?

If you ever tried editing complex tables like this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_tablet_computers
on a wiki using wiki syntax you will soon see that it's a hair-pulling
exercise.

Even with the wikipedia's new Ajax "online" wysiwyg editor, table editing
is stil not even there.

So, is there a plugin allowing to use AOO to edit wiki articles (including
tables), and pushing changes back on-line effortlessly?

If not, there's an idea: there should be.

Options:
1. Thanks for your idea, it's very interesting.
2. I hate that idea, AOO should have nothing to do with wikis.

You're welcome.

Thanks Andrea.

I remember trying this one back in the 2.x days and it didn't work,
some issue with login refused.

Sadly this was a common issues with the Sun created extensions... I
remember one for posting directly to Blogger throwing weird errors as
well.

It looked to me at the time that the log-in part was put together
without much thought to making it as independent of the changes on
the server side as possible, so that the slightest change made the
plugins break. :-/

I hope someone has the time to update both extensions (this one for
wikis and the other one to interface with Blogger) so that those can
work with future AOO versions...

Like this?

Note: it doesn't work with OpenOffice 4 yet, see last comment. But the
source code should be in the OpenOffice repository, so it's available to
anybody who wants to take a look.

Regards,
   Andrea.
