Problem with jaxp

In Xerces1.2.0 and 1.2.1 the class org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserImpl is
abstract therefore it should not. The cvs version of xalan try to
instantiate this class through jaxp api. The consequence is the following
error :

XSLT Error (java.lang.AbstractMethodError): null
