I'm experiencing the same problem with Apache 2.0.54 with PHP 5.0.4 on WinXP 
SP1, mod_proxy is not loaded.
The error occurs sporadically, sometimes with the page partly sent to the 
client. After Apache has automatically restarted, reloading the page does not 
reproduce the error.
