   I think its a race condition. The first dialog disposes the moment the second appears which means the second dialog sometimes doesn't have the main window as parent, but a window which just closed - thats when the UI breaks as soon the main window is focused again.

   would be good if you could check if it fixes it for you. 
   
   its working for me on linux, the window decorations seemed to make it easier to reproduce it for me. Tested with JDK 21.0.1 + X11.
