new committer and PMC member: Cyriaque Dupoirieux
The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Forrest
has asked Cyriaque Dupoirieux to become a committer and
member of the PMC, and we are pleased to announce that
Cyriaque has accepted.
He joined the dev list earlier this year asking
in what way he could help to evolve Forrest.
Cyriaque has been using Forrest since v0.5 and showed
the multi-lingual site with other useful skin
enhancements. He contributed various parts via our
issue tracker. Recently he has been contributing to
the new "views" functionality and has been assisting
other developers and users.
Welcome Cyriaque.
Being a committer enables easier contribution to the
project since there is no need to go via the patch
submission process. This should enable better productivity.
Being a PMC member enables assistance with the management
and to guide the direction of the project.
