             Summary: ApacheDs doesn't start with more than 4gb of RAM assigned
                 Key: DIRSERVER-2236
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-2236
             Project: Directory ApacheDS
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ldap
    Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M24, 2.0.0-M20
         Environment: SuSE Linux SLES 11 SP4 x86_64
            Reporter: Gustavo Vargas

We have mofidied the wrapper instance configuration file and we set the following paramters:
wrapper.java.initmemory=5120m
wrapper.java.maxmemory=5120m

When we start the apacheds instance, we see that the Java Process at operating system level start it with 4gb maximum

How can we set more than 4g of RAM to the apacheds instance?
