[jira] Commented: (TOMAHAWK-536) Data from inputText within popup is not saved

John Boardman commented on TOMAHAWK-536:
----------------------------------------

Move your form inside the popup and it will work. The div for the popup gets moved to the bottom of the emitted html, outside the form in which it is defined. I spent many an hour trying to figure out why values weren't being set in popups and this turned out to be the problem. This still happens when using version 1.1.5 of all components (myfaces, tomahawk, and sandbox).

Hope this helps!
John

> When modifying the node description using the inputText (the one from the popup) and pressing "Submit", the description is not saved to the bean.
