Quarterly report for Apache DB project
Our Derby report will be combined with the other Apache DB subprojects,
so it needs to be short. How does what I have written down below sound?
Anything to change/add?
thanks,
-jean
==============================
July - September
Three new Derby committers were added in July: David Van Couvering,
Bernt Johnsen and Oyvind Bakksjo. Derby graduated out of the Apache
Incubator at the end of July to join the DB Project, and it made its
first official release, 10.1.1.0, available on August 3. The developer
and user communities are both thriving with 242 and 356 subscribers,
respectively. Since the creation of the Derby wiki in September, there
has been a substantial increase in proposal collaboration.

Good suggestion, thanks. Here's what I'll post to the db pmc today
unless there are any other changes:

I think the "substantial increase in proposal collaboration" might be a
little over the top. Maybe remove substantial?
Dan.
