Summary: startup (JWS) does not initialize ignored elements
Product: Log4j
Version: unspecified
Platform: All
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: chainsaw
AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
ReportedBy: wolfgang.brodowski@gebit.de
Using chainsaw V2 - I configured a remote logger and on that in the meantime I
have entries in the tree pane (of the log output) which are not of interest for
me. So I decided to set the "ignore" flag on the element in the tree pane. The
effect is, that this part of the tree is faded out immediately.
But when restarting the appllication - the configuration including the "ignores"
is saved - the configuration is read and in the tree pane one will see the
"ignored" parts, but inside the log output also ignored entries will be shown.
Workaround: Click on the "ignored" item or the root in the tree pane. Afterthat,
the "ignores" work correctly.
