[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-5063) issue notifications for security issue updates/created (instead of daily summary mails)

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-5063?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13418701#comment-13418701 ]

Tony Stevenson commented on INFRA-5063:
---------------------------------------

To be clear you now want to _STOP_ the daily emails, and instead have a normal notification as per other projects?
If so, please confirm that this is a) the result of a vote (inc vote thread) and b) where the notification are to go to?

> As committers of the JSPWiki incubator project we are currently receiving a daily mail with all the open security issues.
> (I think this mechanism was setup by Mark, see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3921?focusedCommentId=13108430&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-13108430 )
> If a new security issue is created, or an existing one is updated, we do not get any notification.
> The next day you do get the daily security-issue-mail again, but it is hard to discover that a new issue is now on the list.
> It would be very convenient for us if an email would be sent (to the committers only) when security issues are created or updated.
> I had a look at the JIRA administration options for JSPWiki, but could not find any way to get this done.
> Can you help us with that ?
> kind regards,
> Harry
