Hey there,
That's because the set custom headers were not implemented. I've added a fix in this commit: https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=cordova-blackberry.git;a=commit;h=5598f528f27ca08e95b597a549e124050b718d09
I should also note that this ticket is a duplicate of https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1954#comment-13510212 (or perhaps the other way around). In any case, fixed! Let me know how it works.
