System id not passed to entity resolver
Summary: System id not passed to entity resolver
Product: Xerces2-J
Version: 2.0.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Other
Component: JAXP
AssignedTo: xerces-j-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: mwright@neoforma.com
I've specified an entity resolver using the method builder.setEntityResolver().
The DOCTYPE declaration in the XML document is:
<!DOCTYPE ContextConfig SYSTEM "../../config/ContextConfig.dtd">
When the resolveEntity() method is called on my EntityResolver implementation,
both the systemId (and publicId) are null.
This worked as I expected it to and as it seems it should in 1.4.3 (I haven't
tried 1.4.4) and provide the (user.dir based) path to the DTD.
