[jira] [Commented] (CAMEL-5491) Cannot access blueprint property
placeholder values from velocity
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-5491?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13431470#comment-13431470 ]
Alan Foster commented on CAMEL-5491:
------------------------------------
I rely on properties set in a configuration file for specific information to be used within velocity
Apache Camel's Simple is able to directly access both the properties within an exchange with the notation `${property.keyName}`
It is also able to access the property placeholder information with `${properties:keyName}`
I therefore wondered if a similar method of accessing properties can be added to velocity... As having full access to the property/configuration details within velocity would be a useful thing to have!
