[PATCH] Remove README.txt from .svn
I'd like to commit the attached patch. It removes the README.txt file
from our working copy .svn areas.
It would be possible to add a "Don't edit!" warning to the 'format'
file without sacrificing the win in disc space.
Comments?
bye,
Erik.
PS: dlr, dberlin and I agreed in IRC it would be a good change by
itself, but did not reach consensus about the "Don't edit" warning.

Several people have objected, so, I have reverted r17277 in r17308.
bye,
Erik.

It's fine, but if we're going to have both live data and comments in
that file, can we please use a real comment prefxi for the comments,
like "#"?

Did I? I don't remember objecting.
I figured we'd drive off that bridge when we come to it :)
It must have been my evil twin.

I prefer the latter too.

Oh, btw: DannyB objected, because it would prevent us from adding a
features list to the format file.
The current interface promise I made up was that every comment will be
prefixed by 2 \n characters. If we add a features list, we can
terminate the list just like mime/http headers.
What about it? Too much problems for the future to add a comment, or
can we just add it and see when we cross the bridge? (/me prefers the
latter)
bye,
Erik.

Yes, I was planning to do that. Expect something soon!
bye,
Erik.

+1 on that, though better to do it as a separate commit anyway.
