Loading a Node into JSVGCanvas

Hi,

I have a generated org.w3c.dom.Node that I want to display inside a 
JSVGCanvas.
This Node is the root node of a SVG document generated using Xalan.
Do I need to create a SVGDocument in order to give it to the JSVGCanvas, 
and if so, how to create it and how to set its root?
