[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-5661) [VMware] DetachIsoCmd succeeds
even though cdrom is locked by VM as cdrom is mounted
Sateesh Chodapuneedi created CLOUDSTACK-5661:
------------------------------------------------
Summary: [VMware] DetachIsoCmd succeeds even though cdrom is locked by VM as cdrom is mounted
Key: CLOUDSTACK-5661
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-5661
Project: CloudStack
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
Components: VMware
Affects Versions: 4.2.0
Environment: ESXi 5.0u2
Reporter: Sateesh Chodapuneedi
Assignee: Sateesh Chodapuneedi
Fix For: 4.3.0
DetachIsoCmd should fail if CDROM device is locked by VM. Inside the VM If user mounts the CDROM device attached to VM, then graceful detach is not possible unless the device is unmounted from inside the VM. vCenter poses a question to user if detach has to be done forcibly. CloudStack should automatically answer the question "NO" and should fail the detach operation.
