[jira] Resolved: (WW-1931) Better datetime picker
[ https://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/WW-1931?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Musachy Barroso resolved WW-1931.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
Fix Version/s: (was: Future)
2.1.0
I'm closing this ticket as I think the overall agreement is to let people contribute this kind of non-core features through plugins, instead of bringing them into Struts 2,. For an example of a plugin supplying a datepicker see:
http://code.google.com/p/struts2yuiplugin/
same thing can be done with other javascript implementations. Besides, the license for this particular JS library is GPL, so I don't think we would ever be able to bring it in right?

> s:datetimepicker now shows a standard dojo datetime picker.
> But the dojo datetime picker is not very good. For example, it's impossible to select month with 1 mouse click. A lot of other limitations are there.
> Maybe take a look at a brilliant FREE js datetime picker at http://www.dynarch.com/projects/calendar/
> I think it will be a good idea to include this calendar to struts 2 distribution.
