[jira] Commented: (MNG-1047) Evaluate commons vfs to use for file system operations

Trygve Laugstol commented on MNG-1047:
--------------------------------------

Good idea, but what's IMO more important is that we make all File access go though a component so we can properly leverage any IDEs internal file system. I don't know how Commons VFS works but if it does something like it, great!

> Commons virtual file system provides a layer of abstraction over the actual filesystem, with a good number of implementations. It may be used in wagon instead of current approach.
