 ConsumerInterceptor operates at batch level. There is no client-level hook for per-record processing lifecycle (span creation, MDC, context propagation). Frameworks and instrumentation libraries have
   independently built workarounds. This KIP adds ConsumerRecordContextProcessor to fill that gap. See KIP-1305.
