Steps to reproduce:

File > New > Drawing
Create two drawing objects
Move one to the "Controls" layer
Select the two objects
Modify > Group

The object on the Controls layer disappears.

Export to pdf will not include the object on the Controls layer.

Export (page) to image does not include the object on the Controls layer.

Esport (selection) DOES include the object on the Controls layer.

Tested on AOO 4.1.3 on Linux.
