JSR 168 an Lenya

Hi all

it is possible to deliver some lenya/cocoon content as a JSR-168
compliant portlet? Any information is appreciated.

Regards
Christian

Apache mailing lists are indeed a rich source of acronyms :)

May I recommend
   http://www.planetcocoon.com/en/glossary
which has the most common acronyms.

Create a doctype which is pulling in/aggregating the profile and
reduce the profile to just one "node" which basically contains the
layout of the portlets for this page, whereas the profile is
mapped to the document URL and not to a specific user. Editing of the
profile is only allowed then within the Authoring area.

Please note that IIUC the profile is normally used for the whole sitetree
for a specific user, but we customized it such that it is used
for a specific document resp. URL for all kind of users.

Hi

could you describe how you solved this? For example in a way that no
one can bother you... Just a few hints were very welcome.

yes, it is. We recently implemented a "porlet-doctype" for a customer,
but it's very customer specific and they wouldn't allow us to Open Source it
as it is, but I hope that we find the time to make it more generic in
the future
and contribute it since it seems to me that Lenya should support
Portlets "out of
the box".
