Cocoon Samples & Macs & IE5
Hi all
I tried all view the Cocoon samples on a Mac with IE5 and basically it
seems like the XSL didnt transform. On my pc with IE5 all samples work
perfectly. Is there any reason why mac IE cant display them? I would have
thought if my cocoon.properties file has (browser.0 = explorer=MSIE) that
it would render it??? For example If I point it to the examples e.g.
http://some.ip.address:8080/cocoon/index.xml it seems to render the xsl
file to the screen and the xml file is in the source of the file, but it
wont display it.Its like it tried to render XSL file for MSIE and dies. Ive
tried on both OS 8.5 and OS 9.1. Im baffled. Any thoughts?
Cheers

I had this same problem. If I was at home I could give you a more percise
fix but basically cocoon isn't doing the XSL Transformation, IE is. If you
watch your status bar, you'll probably see that it is also downloading the
XSL file. It shouldn't. IF you want a real test, hit the page with
Netscape. If Netscape doesn't display anything, your have a configuration
error with Cocoon.
