We welcome your offer to rewrite the manual in docbook format :)
Actually there is an automated way to generate the core docs in XML using
xdoclet
(http://nagoya.apache.org/gump/javadoc/ant/proposal/xdocs/build/docs/manual/) ;
if you wanted to provide the work to go to PDF from that somehow, we would be
equally grateful.
If it is just a printed quick reference to the tasks, grab appendix E of Java
Dev w/ Ant from your Ant distro or http://manning.com/antbook.
