Next maven-jlink-plugin release?
Hi all,
I want to ask if there is a schedule for the next maven-jlink-plugin release?
I am asking because I am especially interested in the change made in https://github.com/apache/maven-jlink-plugin/pull/598
and would like to test this on existing JavaFX applications that have 'suffered' from it.
As a side note, this could also determine whether the javafx-maven-plugin discontinues its jlink support,
as the official maven-jlink-plugin works and provides everything needed to link a functioning JavaFX runtime environment (from what I see).

Hi all,
I just tested the new version 3.3.0 of the maven-jlink-plugin.
And I can happily annouce that it now works perfectly with JavaFX. Due
to the automatic module detection, no errors are thrown anymore and it
just works.
Also very nice: It is easy to provide JavaFX JMods and that also just
works.
This makes the JLink functionality in the javafx-maven-plugin obsolete
(They already thought about deprecating it in favor of the official
maven plugin).
Thanks for the work!
Question: Is there a need for more contributors for the maven-jlink
plugin? If so, I'd be happy to help (Mostly if there are new features or
support for JLink plugins, PR #603).
Background: I heavily use the Java module system, especially with/in
JavaFX applications. And optimize with JLink and JPackage to be as small
as possible. I'm also a JavaFX Committer.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I think we can cut a release soon, but there are a few simple issues
which we could include first, if you do not mind.
E.g. the zip directory prefix, as well as the jlink plugins. If you don't mind?
