[jira] Updated: (HADOOP-5629) Display counters at end-of-job using
thousands separator
Chris Douglas updated HADOOP-5629:
----------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
Though I empathize, this will break every simple script that's scraping the output and launch a thousand flawed regexps. I'm closing this as "won't fix", but please reopen if you feel strongly about it.

> Counters displayed at the end of a mapreduce job are displayed without thousands separators, which makes large numbers difficult to read. This patch causes the counters to be displayed using thousands separators.
