map:handle-errors and HTTP status

Is it possible to have nicely formated errors in web browser and still send
HTTP 500 as it was previously. Now HTTP 200 is sent. I use web browser for
debugging but my real client is my own application which gets confused when
receives HTTP status 200 and not xml content?
